You may already have this info but I thought I would pass it on;
Edgar Mirden Allum born about 1876, spouse was Winnefred Reeves, there were married in 1905

His first name is also listed as Edward & his middle name is also listed as Morden so I am not sure which spelling is correct.

He died 13 Oct. 1931 in Vancover

1911 census for Revelstoke, Kootenay, BC he is listed as a jeweler born May of 1876, living with Winnefred & a son Morden born July 1907

Also it looks like he was born in Quebec, his father was a Minister named Carl Allum.

Other than the 1911 census listing him as Edward, everything else lists him as Edgar

Here is another Rockford 18 size private label dial from Geo. Hotson Lacombe, N.W.T. that became part of Alberta in 1905.

Lacombe located a few miles north of Red Deer on the CPR's main line between Calgary and Edmonton Alberta. It is named after Father Albert Lacombe an Oblate missionary who brokered a peace between First Nations tribes and the Canadian Pacific Railway and negotiated a route for the CPR through their territories.

Merritt is a city in the Nicola Valley of the south-central interior of British Columbia, originally called Forksdale, and Diamond Vale it was renamed after local mining engineer and railway promoter William Hamilton Merritt in 1906. After the Canadian Pacific Railway was completed in 1885, William Merritt was instrumental in having a railway line built from Spences Bridges on the CPR mainline eastward to Merritt where rich deposits of coal were found. When Silver was discovered in the Kootenays region of south-central British Columbia the CPR started building the Kettle Valley Railway in 1910, it was completed in 1915, and connected with Merritt via Coquihalla pass. The first regular passenger train and between Midway and Merritt arrived on May 31, 1915
