Dan, although your suggestion sounds good, I don't know if it's too practical. The reason I say this, many of our digital cameras don't have image stabilization features, particularly at close range. Therefore taking a picture with one hand, while trying to focus on the other could well result in many blurred images. Personally I'd prefer to see a nice clear image of the watch even although it may not be on the wrist. Dave Freeman IHC Member 321

Dan, on my monitor (and on my wrist, now), it looks as green as the Barrel and Square B Engraved that I showed earlier (farther up on the same page).

My 14K Hamilton Sherwood N came up in the rotation today.

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around for a while but still think about all of you! Today I wore my newest wristwatch! Pink is my alltime favorite color so I had to had this beauty! Pink mother of pearl dial/with diamonds - Bulova. I'm enjoying wearing this one even if it is not vintage/antique! Stephanie O'Neil

This '30s Omega. | ||||

This WGF Cushion Form | ||||

That's a nice one, Thomas.

Here is something different. This ca. early '20s Ferrero (dial restored) is quite large on the wrist (24 x 38 mm)...This is a rather obscure, but high-end, Swiss maker of the era.
|
Another view. I love the crown!

Inner case back markings.

Movement shot. I'd have preferred to have found this with the dial unrestored, but I was a relative newbie at the time I purchased it. Still it's a nice, unusual watch.

Green gold filled Cushion Form Engraved.

Thomas, that Cushion looks like it would glow brightly.... Here is my newest Seamaster. It's a cal. 351 bumper movement, ca. 1951. It's really a two-tone dial, like the Oval or Tonneau; the patina gives a neat marbling effect to the naked eye.

A pretty fancy WGF Wittnauer from the late 50's. Check out the blue Stingray strap. Dave Freeman IHC Member 321

White gold filled Cushion Form engraved today. Some of my favorite models are coming up in the rotation.
|
Just picked this up from the watchmaker...I kind of wish it still was luminous, but I resist the urge to put a Luminova dial on it!
|
Dave, your Wittnauer (and strap) are amazing...
