Are you sure of that date, David? I thought Rockford closed its doors in 1915. Confused

Ah, that makes sense! Thanks!

The only reason I even noticed it is because of all my 'Rockford' activity in the last couple weeks.

Here is a Canadian watch I acquired recently. It is a 21 jewel Bunn Special 60 HOUR Type IIIA with a very nice Canadian dial. It is also encased in a Canadian made case making it totally appropriate for use on the Canadian Railways.

Although this is a Swiss watch, I think its unusual dial can be defined as "Canadian style".

Hi all, this is my first post. This is my 1892 model Waltham CPR, one of a run of only 100, only CPR made for a hunting case, although this one is in an open face case of around the same period.

Hope you like it, Rhoda

I just noted this forum and think it should be revamped and restarted.
Here is a pic of my latest Gr. 349 with an Metal replacement dial, unfortunately someone put a Waltham second hand on it, which will be changed shortly.

Here's one that I just bought this morning. It's a running Hamilton 992 dated from 1917 cased in a A.W.C.Co. Canadian made gold filled CASHIER swing-out case in good condition. The double sunk dial has two hairlines but is in good condition otherwise. It's obviously missing the bow, crystal, second hand and most of the hour hand. The stem is round for some reason and will also need replacing. It should be fun gathering the correct parts and should look really great when completed.

Peter, nice watch , I really like the 992's, unfortunately I have no Cdn RR dials on them as yet although I have a couple of them.
I really have to show my latest Cdn RR dial on my Hamilton Ball 999B.
