Welcome to the IHC 185 pocket watch forum and thanks for sharing your really nice watches with the "CPR" dials.

The dials are welcomed any way you would like to display them, i.e. catalogs, dial alone, attached to watch, etc.

Below is dial No. 032-2 from a Hamilton blueprint, dated 1949, with 1954 revision.

Thank you! Any idea, year-wise, when these two dials would have been in service? I'm trying to determine if they're correct for the movements they're attached to.

The Hamilton is on a 946 and the Ball, a Ball-Hamilton 999. I personally love the Canadian dials, especially the 18S. I haven't seen too many Ball-Hamilton Montgomery dials, let alone Canadian ones. Are they unusual or rare?

The chart below will help identify the time-frame for various Hamilton dial signatures.

Assuming your 946 dial is original to your watch, then we are talking about the 1905-1918 time-frame.

The 946 was produced from 1904-21, with a total of 10,692 movements.

What is the jewel count on your 999? This information is need for a mfg. time-frame.

That range sounds right for the 946, I dated it between 1913-14. Ball-Hamilton is a 21J, from 1909

For those of us that are not real familiar with Howard's, would you care to share the dial time-frame?

Robert, this SERIES V Howard, Ser. #56997 was sold and transferred to the Howard New York office for $105 in 1878. Original factory records indicate it was adjusted to H&C and isochronism but not adjusted to position, gilded with patent regulator.

Here's the ball 24 hr you have scanned above. Some of the numerals look diff. This is a melamine dial.
