Tom, look at the state the case was in originally, no wonder everyone thought it to be a bad buy, but Michael, the woodwork magician, has done it again, making a silk purse out of a sow´s ear. Well done Michael, for seeing the beauty that can be revived with a bit of elbow grease. Congratulations on another job well done.

Well have a look at this then, the chronometer was boxed OK, but the seller forgot to put packing into the chrono case, just in case the bowl came off the gimball...which happened and smashed the wooden case during transport. Eek
