Since we are in the astronaut kick and Bulova .... here is my Bulova "Moon Watch". The replica of the one that Astronaut Captain Scott wore during his EVA trips on the moon. Apparently his was a prototype. This one has a battery movement, his was mechanical I believe.

They came out the 2015 timeframe:
Bulova Moon Watch re-issue

I purchased mine a few months ago. The oringinal mentioned in the post was a one off made by Bulova. It was mechanical. The new ones are quartz. The sub second hand actually ticks fairly smooth at 2 ticks per second instead of 1 tick per second. Plus it is just a really nice watch. I would have preferred mechanical, but this is still a nice watch with presence.

Today was a vintage Cabot Watch Company W-10 from 1976. This was issued to the British Ministry of Defense until replaced by a quartz model in 1980. The quality ETA 2750 keeps excellent time.

I really like that style of case, just molds to the wrist.

I got this one cleaned a few days ago and have been wearing it off and on for the past few days. Seiko 6106-9050. It was beat up pretty bad and needed new Lume and a good COA. Dial is pretty scratched up, but as this came in a box of parts for $20 I think I did ok Smile

Doesn't get much wrist time because it's lacking shock protection. My 100+ year old PW conversion.

Good eye Dave. The serial number was an important factor in the purchase Wink
