Nothing special, Elgin grade 387 that was in very poor shape. The worst thing was someone had opened the case with what appeared to be a screwdriver. The movement is now in display case and turned out really nice. In my limited amount of time collecting, I have found it to be amazing what people can do to a pocket watch...

Thanks for the kind comments. I am not a watchmaker by any means, but it is amazing how people can think a screwdriver would be the best tool to open a watch.

Those are the same folks who sell them stating ‘watch runs but you can’t set the hands’, not knowing about lever set movements.
