Many of us have oddball parts which we will never, or rarely use. Some have the potential to end up as a "Frankenwatch" since all the damascened plates are there. | |||

But this movement presents a different solution, since the damascening on the missing barrel bridge will never be found. Therefore, the"Barbie watch" with a different barrel bridge for each occasion! | ||||

The funny thing is that's exactly what Waltham did with the CPR stuff. They were Model 83s with the Appleton Tracy pattern on the train bridge, but with a different pattern on the barrel plate alongside the beaver and CPR logo - and those mismatched watches command big bucks.
