The Elgin keywind I picked up has this marking, with a magnifier it almost looks like those hats that British soldiers wore in the revolutionary war, or a least that is what it reminds me of. And yes buttheads could not go with just one line they had to really scrape it. ![]() | |||

Looks like someone was interested to see if it was 18k solid gold with those nasty scratches on the inside lid. | ||||

They were going at it hard and heavy. You would think one would be good enough but they are some deep gouges. | ||||
