Here's your steel escapement wheel Roger. It's the first little gear in the gear train with the white arrow. Some were brass before RR standards started required a steel escapement wheel. Then most all the manufacturers went to the steel wheel on all their lines of watches. regards, bb [see attachment] ![]() | |||

Thank you guys.I knew it had a steel escape wheel but I did't or don't know what ateel is.Perhaps a play on words by Hampden or a mis-spelling? | |||
