I have those 2 dials and would like to know on what watches they go on.

Peter, That dial on the right goes on my watch! ![]() Dave Turner

Peter, What are the dial feet location and size (12, 16, or 18)?
|

dials are size 16 Waltham dial feet at 3,23 and 43 min. Elgin dial feet at 19,36 and 55 min.
|
The Elgin could go on a BW Raymond 21j 3/4 plate or pretty much any Elgin 16sz with the standard (19, 36, and 55). It has the Canada 24 hour going for it. Here is the standard Elgin monty - I have sold a few of them - they look nice and are reasonable in price when compared to a Hamilton monty

but the waltham is missing the seconds hole.
|
Ha ha - it sure is... ( I guess you'll have to cut the 4th wheel pinion off - just KIDDING -

I would guess the Waltham might fit on an Equity as I think some were produced without a seconds hand and I think they were largely lower cost export watches. Perhaps a Waltham collector has more knowledge? Deacon

I believe those type Waltham dials were used for Waltham H/C movements to be put in an O/F case and the 4th wheel pinion left off and possibly to export also. regards, bb

Here is a Waltham with no seconds pinion. Yours does not have embossed Numbers though. This Braille watch of mine is on eBay right now for sale. ![]()
