A few pictures of KM Watches (Siegerin and Zentra) Tom might be interested in these! KM Zentra Dial KM Siegerin Dial Zentra next to a Longines A 11 for size comparison. Zentra next to Rocar My WWW collection is now complete, time to look for new ventures!

You have so many great watches, Werner! I like both of these. Are there any markings on the backs or the movements? If so could you add a few photos? I have a question about the Siegerin watch's hands. In the photo they seem to have blue-green luminous material on them which appears to be a recent addition. Is this just the photo, or are the hands repainted or replaced?

Jim, there are no markings on the back or movement of a KM wristwatch, the markings are always on the dial. As to the hands, no they are original, its just a play of the light, but I must admit a nice colour though Here is the Movement etc. of the Zentra Movement and case of the Siegerin My WWW collection is now complete, time to look for new ventures!

Claudio, Can you post pictures of your KM Alpina pocket watch? At least it appears to be a Alpina. Mine has a black dial.

Very nice indeed. Does your Alpina have a #337 movement? Seen many with a black dial?
  |
Sorry, I've never ever seen a black dialed KM Alpina pocketwatch, the only black dialed KM pocketwatch I know of, is a KM Hanhart. My movement is a 355, as is usual for these white dialed KM's. My WWW collection is now complete, time to look for new ventures!

Click on his name, and a blue box shows up. Click on 'user profile' and it will take you to his profile info. His email is there. I GUESS you can access it while not being a member, but if not, it's only $12 to join! HIGHLY recommended and well worth the investment! Regard !Mark

Here is my Alpina cal 337 with the KM markings. No markings on case back that I can detect 17 ligne ....a big 10S or small 12S like the early Swiss made Gruen pocket watches and moon hands like the early Gruen watches 6 digit serial number obscured by me. Can anyone venture a guess as to dates of production for cal 337? Seems to be a unique size also for a Military watch.

Hi Richard, I would say your dial has been "re-done" This is what it should look like http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALPINA...MARINE-/261106300969 No, just joking, that one has also been modded I have just gone through the Knirim "Bible" on Kriegsmarine watches...No mention of yours though? From the example on Ranftt's site, mine is roughly 53,000 units younger putting it into the mid 1930's at least, for a production date, wouldn't you think? Does the book show any this size no matter the make?
  |
Yes, as to production, 30- mid 30's, but I haven't found in all of the books that I have, that this caliber was used or ordered by the German military, I wish I could be more helpfull, sorry. My WWW collection is now complete, time to look for new ventures!
