Top block screws frozen on Kundo miniatures Two clocks I just picked up to restore have top blocks on which the screws are frozen. I have tried heat, penetrating oil, and cursing, but with no luck. Any ideas short of buying a bag of top blocks?

TOM, You can get the suspension spring you need here! I've seen a few of those blocks you could destroy before getting a screw to come loose. This is the easy way to fix it. http://stores.thehorolovarcompany.com/StoreFront.bok Bill Carlson

Try to find kroil this is the best penetrating oil made literally will loosen bolts that are totally rusted together, a couple of drops laying flat allow a day or so to soak in they will turn out. george
