Could someone give me the model and grade for this little Illinois I just received from Barry Hanstein? It does not match anything Shugart or Towsend have in their books.
Illinois Rockland, 12s, #3729320
19J

Thanks,
Ed

ROCKLAND seems to be a private label variety. You can find the name on page 254 of the Ehrhardt & Meggers book.

Tom,
The drawings in Shugart's book for the mdl 3 has 2 extra screws on the bbl bridge. This one looks like a mdl 5 without the motor bbl.
Could the drawings be that far off?

I think the drawing is wrong, I don't think those two screws are actually on a model 3.

Here is a link with other model 3 12s Illinois movements.

Tom,
I believe you are right about the screws. A picture is more convincing than a drawing.
Thanks Tom and Mike, one of these days I will have to get a Ehrhardt & Meggers book.
