This is Friday the 13th, so I though this is a good day to post pictures of two clocks used in the movies. The first clock is in the 1922 "Nosferatu" with Max Schrek, filmed in Germany. It has a small skeleton on the top of the clock which strikes the hour on a glass bell under it. I believe it is a scythe it is ringing the bell with. There is no good view of the whole clock in one picture. The first view only shows the dial up, the second view is of the base. There was no view of the skull. These pictures were taken for a TV screen, the reason for the poor quality. Andy The International 400 Day Clock Chapter 168. The Internet Horology Chapter 185 nawcc-ihc.org | |||
