Display cases

Here are two common examples. The first being a Hamilton snapback and bezel. I suspect this is how the salesman or jeweler housed the movement before the customer selected a case of his/her choice.

This example is made for an 18s Hampden. No bow, and hinged back and bezel. Not as common as other display cases.

Terrific pictures as usual!!

I really like the display case with the hinged bezel.

The only display cases that I have are the snap-on/off bezel type, and I guess this is ok if you have a pendant set movement , but are a pain in the neck when it comes to setting the time if there is a lever set movement involved.
