Good question Kevin. 'acceptable method' is somewhat subjective. To look factory fresh , we need need to the factory method, maybe someone here knows. There was a recent post here about quick wipe with black paint to fill in lettering.

I am looking for the regular method , I don't want to have the watch everyone is laughing at !
