I did pill the dial to see what was stamped on the dial plate and the only thing there was the numbers 27786.I assume this to be the serial number. Roger | |||

Hi Roger The watch is very likely swiss made for the german market. 'Triumphator was a trademark used by Ludwig & Fries, a German trader from Frankfurt. The case is gold plate ( 10 years in german). The movements reminds me of Zenith. Ludwig & Fries (founded 1853) was the trader where one of the first great andd professional collectors of poccket watches Carl Marfels worked for many years.
