Elgin grade 478 marked adj 6 positions "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I had been away from watch collecting for a bit, I was transferred from GA to MI and trying to get past corporate reductions until I reached retirement age which I did but one month after retirement I lost my wife to covid and had to deal with all the paperwork and such from that. I was pulling some of the watches out of the moving boxes and found a grade 478 marked Adjusted 6 Positions much like the grade 506. I thought it was odd since I didn't remember it but when I posted a photo another collector chimed in that he had one also. Has anyone else seen a 478 marked adjusted 6 positions?? Mine is the later style 478 where the SN is on the train bridge and I did checked under the dial to make sure it wasn't a "FrankenWatch"

Thanks for the condolences, not quite how I planned retirement.
