940's Hamilton regulator patent ? "Click" to Login or Register

Has someome information about the patent regulator used in the early 18s full plate Hamiltons ?

It is the one with the round shaped retaining spring and the long index arm. (Goldwaith's patent ?)

I'am searching for information about the patent (name, date or number) !

That regulator was in constant use on all 18-size Hamiltons from the beginning in 1892 through the 1927 end of 18-size production.


Here it is on 552983 an uncommon Model 944 Hamilton...
