I think Gerald probably has the right guy, in the 1930 census for District 48, Peoria, Peoria, Illinois Page, George T. born about 1860 in Illinois, he is listed as a Federal Judge. He is living with his wife Jessie S., and servant. Tom

1880 census Metamora, Woodford, Illinois. He is about 21, single & living with a Samuel Page, Samuel is an Lawyer born about 1851, it doesn't list their relationship but from the age difference I would guess brothers. George is also listed as a Lawyer

This is from 1912 Peoria city and county, Illinois: a record of settlement Vol 2. I hope it is readable.
|
He must be born in 1859; there is an obituary in 'The New York Times' november 5th 1941 "George T. Page, 82, Ex-federal Judge; Peoria resident who served on seventh circuit appeals bench at chicago-dies " President of ISBA (Illinois State Bar Association) 1905/06

As Gerald said he was Judge of the United States Circuit Court at Chicago, a position which he could hold for life. His brother Samuel was Circuit Judge Peoria but he became one of the most successful & brilliant trial lawyers of Chicago according to the Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society Vol 14.
