Speaking of that Ham 910, the database has this note at the top: "Only Sold Already Cased by Hamilton." But this watch is in a Montauk 20-yr swing-out case w/o any other case marks. Does this mostly likely mean A) it was recased at some point by a jeweler or watchmaker into an unused swing-out case? or B) there are exceptions to the Database "rule." I see that others on eBay are in Hamilton-marked cases, so I favor the former, however odd it may be to consider recasing into a swing-out, which Hamilton did use, if not often. Whatever the case, that watch is a good runner. kh | ||
