At what time (or SN) did Hamilton stop using the "Hamilton Watch Co." in script with the minute markers in "RR Tracks" around the dial, and change to just "Hamilton" in script without the RR markers? I'm sure this has been answered someplace but I couldn't find it.

Yes Kevin, but I still am not sure about the two dials I pictured in original post. The one on the left has the minute markers between two parallel circular "tracks", The other shows minute markers without the "tracks" but with red 5 minute indicators. My assumption has always been the left one was earliest (pre 1900?). Probably not too important to most. Sorry, I JUST looked and realize I used a poor example on the right side. Here is a better comparison of my question. Both say "Hamilton Watch Co." but I believe the left one to be older and appropriate for the 4 digit SN, 936.

Mike, I think you are right on the "railroad track" I have 3-4? pre 1900's watches that have this dial although one of them has roman numerals,s/s on a 1894 930 grade from first run.

Yes your first picture on this post was comparing two different Hamilton signatures, But your 2nd picture posting shows 2 "Hamilton Watch Co." signatures, one with the RR track on the left and one without the RR track on the right.
Most late 1890's to 1905 Hamilton Watch Co. signature 18sz dials had the RR track and most of the 1890's to 1905 Hamilton Watch Co. signature 16sz dials didn't have the RR track. Now I said "most'.
In your 2nd posted picture of the dial on the right, measure the dial and see if it's an 18 or 16sz dial. I would almost bet a donut and coffee that it is a 16sz dial ! Let us know Mike.

The one in the dial holder is looking smaller but it’s 11/2 inches lower from the close camera lense. Roger, I agree I too have several low SN that sport the dial you mentioned.

Roger I have a four digit 936, which is the dial I showed in my last photo. It seems the Arabic numerals are more scarce but I have nothing to base that on. You have a beautiful watch and my belief has always been that Roman Numerals are correct for HCs.
