I am still looking for a "perfect" dial but couldn't resist buying this one in the meantime.

It needed 4 small repairs.

This is the one it will replace.

And my question, is my new dial a "second tier" dial for a lesser movement or would it be appropriate for "The Studebaker" 323?

I always think the more flourish on the tail of the 4, the better the dial.

Does anyone know the difference between a hard and soft enamel dial and can you tell by looking at them?
