Elgin data base (serial number look up). "Click" to Login or Register

I would appriciate any information on how to
look up Elgin Pocket Watch data using the
serial numbers from the movements.

Unfortunately, the old Elgin Data Base is no longer assessable.

Thank You

Here's how you do it the old-fashioned way, using Roy Ehrhard's Elgin book:

1. Find the grade in the serial number & grade table.

2. Look, up the total production in the grade table.

etc., etc.

Best Regards,

Ed

John,
If you have a specific watch in mind, please give the serial number here. We might be able to be of assistance.

There are a few of us that have the Elgin Grade and Serial Numbers Price guide, (Yellow Elgin book) so if you post the serial numbers someone will jump in and help you out.

I had gotten so used to using Wayne's site that I had to dig mine out. Wayne had some some correction to issues that are still in the original Roy E version and had made it easy to see the runs.
