Hey all! Well, I promised pictures of my 1911 Hamilton 954L with that dial that I paid dearly for. I found a very nice Keystone J.Boss 10K gold filled hinged back and bezel case for it, and had Larry put a beautiful glass crystal on it. I decided to not try and clean the hairline on the dial, as I am too worried about damaging the name. The blue moons are original to the dial, and look great! Hope you all like it. Regards, Mr. Richardson

Thanks Lorne! I'm debating whether to carry this one or not. Part of me really wants to take it out and show people, part wants to hang it under glass. Hmmm. Another nice thing about this awesome case is that it originally housed a 978, so there's no extra screw marks!

Thanks guys! Had to pay through the nose for that dial. But the odds of me finding another one is slim to none. And it was a good thing that I had the 975 movement that it came off of...my 954 had a messed up 4th wheel. Had to cannibalize.

That's right Mike, I remember. Need to see some pictures of yours. Mine is in limbo for a little while. We're having trouble with the new crystal staying in. I sent the case back to Larry. In the meantime, I've discovered that the mainspring on my 954 is as strong as an ox! Wound it over 36 hours ago before I took it out of the case, and it's still going! Brad
