I have a beautiful 18s hunter case but I don't know anything about it. The only information on it is inside the cover and it has the letter "P" and a serial number. That's it. I don't no if it is gold filled or gold. I assume gold filled but I don't see and wear through so I don't know. The guy I bought it from just says it was 10k gold.

Harry I look through my Roy Ehrhardt book of trade marks and no luck but it might be Providence or Pioneer case in my opinion

You are right Harry, going to hard to track. Have you had a chance to clean-up the inside case lids? Looking at the pictures you have there it might only be gold filled, how stiff (flexible)are the lids?

Yes Bila I have cleaned up the insides now. They are bright and shiny. I am thinking it is gold filled but am unsure. The lids are very stiff Bila.

Without actually testing Harry hard to tell, but if those lids are exceptionally stiff I would go with gold filled. Hard to tell without having it in hand

Hi Bila too bad it cost so much to ship to Australia or I would let you look at it. But yes they are very stiff and do not flex at all. I'm going with GF'd I don't want to get rid of it anyway. If my 939 that got run over buy a postal trunk can get repaired (???) then I will use it for that as the original was a nickel open face case.
