I dislike snap on display cases with a lever set movement to much work for me.Well I have had one for quiet some time lever cut at 2.So I thought I would cut the bezel to match. Turned out pretty good.At least I don't have to take the bezel off to set it!

While the RR watch inspector would frown on that, so would he have frowned on the use of a salesman's display case anyway. On the other hand the area that lever slot exposed in the watch is is not as prone to dust mucking it up. It makes for a nice carry so long as the lever does not catch on something, come out and "self adjust".

Thanks Mark and David for your comments. So far the lever has not caught on anything and created a problem.I wonder if a piece of rodico would stay in place?

Great idea Roger. You'll just have to make sure you dump the dust out of your pocket, because it will get into that nice looking 940 thru the new lever slot.I wish the factories had the foresight to have made those display cases SB&B!
