 I thought I would post a better picture of my icon.  The watch was a gift from my brother-in-law.  I had the hairspring replaced and had my watch guy give it a good clean and oil and it runs like a race horse now.  I searched for a gold filled display case and recased it to show-off the movement.  The serial number dates it to around 1891.  I think this watch has the most beautiful demaskeening and gold flashing I have ever seen or owned. If anybody thinks they have a better looking movement feel free to post it. I like the idea of getting a bunch of us to show-off their favorite movement and everybody voting. The winner will get a prize. I will kick in 5 bucks to the kitty. ![]()  | |||
