Hi guys. How about I trade you some pictures for a little info? This is a friend's Waltham model 1894 16s pocket watch. I have a guy who will service/repair the movement, crystal and hands, but I was wondering what could be done about the case and dial. They really need to be spruced up a bit. I don't even know what metal the case is, but it looks pretty dull and oxidized maybe. The case work is nicely done, and it would be nice to show it off. What do you think? Thanks, Wally ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey Wally, The case is no problem. Some silver or aluminum polish should clean it up real nice. The dial can either be refinished,or more easily replaced. Should not be too hard to find a replacement dial. I'll look,I may have one. I think if the watch is a model 1894 it is a 12 size.

Thanks Cecil. I stand corrected. It is a size 12
