Hi All, Has anybody had this happen to them . I demagnetized a tweezer (tips), only to find that the opposite end became magnetized. It was not magnetized before (I Think). although it it not something I check. Mel

If your Demag is a flat-top, was the other end of the tweezer off the edge? If it was a toroidal type (better, I think) did you prematurely let off the switch before moving the tweezer completely away (more than 12") from the coil?

My damage is a flat top. I usually hold the tip perpendicular to the top and move away perpendicular to the top of the demagnetized until I am 6 or 7 inches away. Should I do each end separately? I guess the handle first ending with the tips next. But how about the middle? Mel

Maybe your tweezers are bi-polar.

Mel try holding the tweezer flat and slide it across, then "up up and away"!
