Ed,
I wish I knew, very intereting!

I know that it's Canadian, cause Saskatoon is in Saskatchewan Canada, but that's about it.

There is a company in Saskatoon however it's only from 1995, and there are other G.H. Stephenson's listed in various places, but none that look right, unless we can get a date on this one.

I sure have not seen a regulator like that one before, hope someone knows about it.

Good luck!

I see "Advance/Retard" and "Slow/Fast" on it.

Is it Something Swiss?

I could not find anything either.
My thinking was Swiss also!

Edward,

I've seen this style regulator used on early 1900's Favre Leuba / Zenith movements and more recently, Vertex, all very good quality Swiss Movements.

I've a scruffy old Zenith here to restore, with a similar regulator, but my cameras have quit so unable to post a pic just yet.

Best regards

John
