I had often wondered if this watch was ever made with a black dial, then I spotted one on, you guessed it, Fleabay....Well anyway, I won it after fighting off a dozen or so pursuiters and didn't pay too much of a preimum, I don't think.... ![]() Look her over and tell me what you think.... It looks like it has the same type regulator as the Elgin BWR 571! Regards! Mark | |||

Hey Mark, the regulator does look very similar to the one's used on the 571's....since I'm no watchmaker, I won't say definitively that it is though....I timed it with the computer for 36 hours and they were within 1 min. of each other at the end... I agree Samie, I have a few other 543's but this is my first with a black dial....I think it looks kinda 'kool'.... ![]() Regards, Jerry | |||
