I was looking through an old bookcase sitting in a corner of my basement tonight when I noticed some very old books that I had forgotten I had. And, lo and behold, I found a copy of the Elgin Almanac for 1876. I had absolutely no idea it was there. I will post a few images of it. By the way, it includes the following poem: RELIABLE MODESTY The Elgin watch is justly praised For modest worth and beauty; It keeps its hands before its face, And always does its duty. Can you arrange for that to be preserved and reprinted?

I bet the only reason it survived is because someone put it back because it was the US Centennial year. I agree with David, it would be great if it could be preserved and reprinted. Regards! Mark
