Eric WellsElgin Almanac
I was looking through an old bookcase sitting in a corner of my basement tonight when I noticed some very old books that I had forgotten I had. And, lo and behold, I found a copy of the Elgin Almanac for 1876. I had absolutely no idea it was there. I will post a few images of it. By the way, it includes the following poem:
RELIABLE MODESTY
The Elgin watch is justly praised
For modest worth and beauty;
It keeps its hands before its face,
And always does its duty.

David AbbeCan you arrange for that to be preserved and reprinted?

Mark CrossI bet the only reason it survived is because someone put it back because it was the US Centennial year.
I agree with David, it would be great if it could be preserved and reprinted.
Regards! Mark
