Is it ok to soak blued hands in Comet cleaning solution? Thanks...Paul

Yes if they are tempered blue, some swiss hands are painted blue and that paint can/will come off.

David: Thanks for the information. I posted a question a few days ago and never got answer.I am using Time Savers Historic Timekeeper as a cleaning solution for watches. Is that suitable or should I use a different one. It is made for an ultrasonic cleaner and I believe primarilary designed for clock movements. Paul

I only use Zenith watch cleaning solutions they give the best results.
