Question regarding Hamilton 12 sterling silver dials.... "Click" to Login or Register

used on the Masterpiece watches. How are the backs of the dials marked? Are they marked "sterling silver" or .925 or are they marked "argent". I have a Hamilton MP but am relunctant to take off the dial without the proper tools. Thanks for your help.

I am not not 100% sure but I don't think most have any marking as to metal type etc.
