I picked up a book in an estate sale yesterday called Better Watch Repairing -- faster, by L.M. Lewis and Max E. Lee
Filled with pendant rate notations
Has anyone seen this?

I also found a 1983 book called American Pocket Watches by Cooksey Shugart and Tom Engle. I'm checking prices in it to see what it cost the old-timers to put a collection together, heh!

The more I look into it, the more it appears that prices are not a lot different between then and now factoring in the cost of inflation. There's also some consistency.
