From time to time, some of these stamps on the inside of the back PW case lid are vexing. I made a photocopy of pages 37 - 39 of GF marks from PW watch, but cannot find the below stamped info. Todays trouble maker is stamped "Scepter" and '8075768'. Looks like white GF... Any thoughts?

And one more - "Illinois Watch Case Co. - Elgin Tivoli"... Sure looks and feels like White G.F.

Jon Sceptre was name used by the Star Watch Case Co. of Ludington Michigan, I believe they were gold filled. On the Illinois case Tivoli here is a past post where it is discussed as being gold filled; https://ihc185.infopop.cc/eve/f...273961857#6273961857 Tom
