Things are a bit slow around here this weekend

I am new enough at this that I haven't proven to myself that it's not a good idea or I just don't learn too fast.

I find a huge 2 day auction NOT online. There is everything you can imagine for sale but only 4 pocket watches.
2 14K Waltham Hunters, a Swiss Pateca(?) C. Lumsden & Son Inc. Richmond Va. 2 Adjustments 7 jewel 14K
and the Ball pictured below. There were no actual pictures of 14K marks.

I emailed to ask if they would accept a Canadian email bid and she said yes but email back within an hour as we are closing the office early to get ready for the sale. No more info to be had as watches were not available.

I am unendingly confused by Ball watches but I thought:

1. Dial looks legit
2. Hands look to be Waltham Ball (I have since seen them on Hamiltons as well)
3. Case looks nice, not the Ball bow I would have liked but since the other 3 are supposedly 14K perhaps this was what the guy collected.
4. I looked at Ball Waltham prices in the "Fatty" and made an adjustment for somewhat low prices in the book and if it was a halfway decent
watch I didn't want to be out as the opening bid.
5. Came to the conclusion that it's a good thing I don't live in Vegas and emailed in a bid.

If you were so inclined and looking for a thrill, given the above info and only the 2 pics below, what would you have bid?

Thanks Peter, hopefully a couple more "bids" will come.

I don't expect to hear from the auction house until at best, tomorrow.
