I found this pocket watch case in an antique mall. It is hinged-front and snap-on back. There is no brand name or indication of what it's made of, only a serial number. It is apparently for a lever-set movement, since the crown doesn't pull up. Has anyone seen a case like this? Any idea who made it - and of what? The cut-out for the lever is at 2:00. From the backside, the case screw marks are at about 2:00 and 7:00. Any idea what brand movement might have been in it? Thanks Doug

I neglected to mention that it is 18 size.

Excepting the lever cut, I was guessing an early Ingersoll. A picture of the case screw marked side of the body might help.
