Does anyone have a Rockford #344 balance staff to sell. It fits a model 8.

Harry I have some 18s double roller Rockford staffs. Is yours a double roller?

Thank you Deacon as Jon said it is a single roller. I have quit collecting movements with broken staffs unless I need a parts watch. But I have a few already with bad staffs so I might as well try to find a staff and fix them.

I might have it, but I would just about have to have the old staff for reference. I have a staff set with 6 or 7 different 18s rockfords, but they are all by overall length, not rockford number... all dimensions of the old staff in thousands of an inch may work too.

Hi Jared. I can send you the assembly but since it has a broken pinion I don't know how accurate the measurement would be.

A friend told me the length on the #344 staff was 7.05mm's. Hub height is .71mm's. The #342 is very close with the same length but the hub height is off a little at .75mm's and probably will not work. It is a single roller staff. I will have to convert all the numbers as I think his book list the dimensions in mm's but I could be wrong. I'll find out tomorrow. I can call him tomorrow and get the rest of the measurements if that will help.
