M.L.Sheehan, 1195 Broadway, N. Y.?...this 16 size
movement...is it Swiss?...This name appears on the Case...and...the Movement....any info greatly appreciated.

Many features of this watch look typically Swiss, including the shape of some of the bridges. Most telling, to me, is the manner of holding the two dial feet with notched screws from the back. This is very typical of a Swiss watch. Beyond that, it looks like a very nice nickel movement with damasceening a little nicer than what I see on most Swiss movements. It must have been imported and either ordered with the custom engraving for the New York retailer, or engraved here.

I'm about 99% certain that movement is a Longines product.

I have one that's very similar, although at the moment, I have no idea where it is.
