What movement was this case used for any bunn special or was it specifically for the 161 and 163 models.

I have no idea of the answer. But the bow in the photo of the watch book is different than your bow.

Rob

I posted a picture of this same case and was told it would contain a 1930 Bunn Special 163. Search old posting to find additional information. I think Lin called it a droppy bow #28 case.

So the bow is original to this case. Here is a pic of the back

Closer look at the bow. SO this was "only used on the 163.

What you have there is the "droopy bow" variant of the BS Case Model #28, as Keith pointed out. It would be correct for any 60-Hour Bunn Special from 1928 onwards, including but not limited to the 161 & 163 series.

Is this case going to be for sale? A "friend" was asking.

OK Ed that is the answer I was looking for Thanks. Since I am getting flooded with emails on this case, the easiest and fairest way to handle it is to let you know when I post it up on auction.
