I got my 950 back together, it is serial number 753829. The case only has case screw marks for a 950 so perhaps this is the original case. The case back has a line of jewelers marks so it appears it was take care of in it's life time. The dial is a four foot dial with one hairline near the number 7. I bought this to resell so probably after the new wears off I will put it up for auction. I had posted a topic questioning if all 950's had the ratchet wheel cover & posted some Hamilton ads I had found elsewhere on this site showing the 950 minus the cover. The link to that topic is; https://ihc185.infopop.cc/eve/f...86047761/m/808108202 While I had it apart I photographed each part's matching serial numbers. Tom ![]()

Nice looking watch, the gold crown on the winding wheel looks better than the recessed washer type.

That looks like it has a fine stack of RR service marks on the inside back cover too!

Yeah, David, there was quite a row of them plus a few others scattered about the case back. Tom ![]()

I wondered how often the checks were recorded on the inside of the watch (appears to be the case with this watch) and how many watches were tracked by printed cards?
