Hi All,

Would someone have an idea on the value of the Swiss made (Hy Moser & Co) Burlington 21 Jewel 6 position RR model pocket watch made for the Canadian market? Also to be correct do they come in a Burlington Watch Co marked case?

You'd get a better response if you posted some pictures.

Mine is in a Burlington cashier case. I have purchased two, though one never made it back from the seller after repairs. The one I have is cool looking, but needs a staff (any one have one????). I laid out about $150 for each.

That's cool. I haven't seen a hunting case in a Burlington-Moser. Here's my (broken) dial

Bila,
The two I have are both in Burlington cases, but they are open faced ones.

Are the two you have Bill in Burlington marked "Cashier" cases?

Bila,
Unfortunately I only have one of them left, but the other one also was in a Cashier Burlington case as this one is.

Bila,
The watch shown is lever set, but the other one I had, was pendant set.

Bila:

Here is an interesting wooden drawer from the Burlington Watch Co. Winnipeg. Inside the Top Lid is a diagram of the components on a 16 size Burlington Moser movement. Top of drawer.

This drawer belonged to a friend George Cowan, during World War II George was a Corporal in the Royal Canadian Air Force based in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he was taught to be an instrument technician. After the war he trained as a watchmaker and had a business in Lethbridge, Alberta. He was a member of our local watch collectors club in Calgary and I bought the drawer from him.

The drawer was empty when I bought it, and I used it to display the parts of a Hamilton 18 size movement.
