Do you really know how to use your calipers? Are you aware that the ends are different for a reason? Are you aware of the difference in sizes? 3 Set loose enough on the pivots it will allow the heavy part to go to the bottom and give you an idea of the heavy side. It is not a poising tool and should not be substituted as one. But it will let you know if you need to balance the wheel. Notice in the photo of the caliper inserts A & B. A allows the staff the rest on the pivot ends and B allows the ends to be free and rests on the cone of the staff. | |||
