I recently acquired a nice Model 1894 Waltham Riverside Maximus in a solid 14k Keystone open face case, #5,685,356. I knew the watch had some issues, one of which is the bow. I don't think it is original, and its plating has all worn off. (See the photo below.) If you can advise me what the original bow would have looked like or if you can sell me an appropriate bow, I would be grateful.

Nice looking case Ethan!

I can see the bow has been replaced. The original would have been solid gold, although not necessarily that much different in style.

Compare your bow to the bow depicted on the upper right corner of page 23 in the fat book, which is a high-pendant case of comparable vintage to your case.

Another style to consider for a high-pendant case like yours would be the basic French-style bow depicted top of page 41 of the fat book.
