I came across this letter in going through my Grandfather's papers. It is an acknowledgement of my Grandfather's acceptance to become a time inspector for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad. I just thought you folks might find it interesting.

Does anyone have any information on this railroad?

John,
I don't know Railroads, but that sure is a wonderful letter.
Great Family history, and watch collector Gem for sure.
Thank you for sharing it with us.

John,

Very nice piece of history! Do you have that in a nice frame hanging on the wall in your watch room??

Here's a link to a Wikipedia article on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (1847-1986).

Best Regards,
