Pick up this white gold filled 12s pocket watch. It is marked 18K 25years Double Stock. I can not find any information for a 18K case. Is this special? The serial #2966735 of the Illinois pocket watch which makes it a 406. Can anybody give me any information on the case Thanks | ||

Hi Keith, I've always read and heard from others, if there are any type of "years" reference near the kt rating it is gold filled, not solid gold. 25 years though does indicate it is a quality case. And also, if it is an American made case it would have "US ASSAY" near the kt rating, again just something I've always heard. As far as other information on the case, for that I can't help.
